ABOUT STEPHANIE
Hi, I’m Stephanie Sundell—a dedicated real estate professional, seasoned investor, and creative visual entrepreneur with a passion for capturing stories and building community. I live in beautiful Vista, California, in San Diego County, with my amazing daughter (19) and son (23).
With over 5 years in real estate and more than $20 million in sales, I’ve helped clients navigate everything from first-time home purchases to strategic investment opportunities. I am currently affiliated with eXp Realty Whissel / Beer Group and actively involved in several respected industry organizations, including the San Diego Association of Realtors (SDAR), National Association of Realtors (NAR), North County San Diego Realtors (NCSDR), San Diego Creative Investors Association (SDCIA), Women Real Estate Investment Network (WREIN), and the Tiny Home Industry Association (THIA).
As a real estate investor since 2003, I’ve developed a strong eye for value, potential, and long-term growth. I specialize in unique housing models and am a recognized tiny house expert and advocate. I am currently leading the development of a tiny house community near Yosemite National Park—bringing together affordability, sustainability, and thoughtful design.
I hold an Associate Degree from MiraCosta College and completed my California Real Estate Exam in June 2021, with continuing education through 2029. I am also proud to be part of the Women Real Estate Investment Network (WREIN) mentorship community, where I continue to grow while supporting and empowering other women in real estate.
In addition to my real estate career, I’ve worked as a professional photographer for over 33 years and have served as the official photographer for United States Marine Corps Birthday Ball events—capturing moments of honor, tradition, and pride.
I also own and manage two Airbnb properties: a short-term rental Tiny House Village in Groveland, California, just outside Yosemite, and a long-term rental in Ramona, California. Hosting has become another meaningful way for me to share the warmth of home with people from all walks of life.
When I’m not closing deals, developing properties, or behind the camera, you’ll likely find me traveling the world, often with my faithful dog, Luna Lou, a King Charles Cavalier/Cocker mix, by my side. Whether I’m photographing a Marine Corps Ball or planning my next Airbnb stay, I believe life is meant to be lived with intention, creativity, connection, and a sense of adventure.
I love helping clients buy or sell homes, guiding them as they close one chapter and open another. I work with first-time buyers, vacation rental investors, second-home clients, relocations, and 1031 exchanges. I also prioritize working with investors and landlords, helping secure long-term rental strategies for their portfolios. Cost segregation? Let’s talk.
Real estate is not just a profession, it’s a calling to serve. I navigate complex transactions and ever-changing markets while bringing clarity and confidence to buyers and sellers.
I don’t just sell houses, I help unlock futures.
